Note: During 2020, all theatres in the UK were closed as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. This resulted in Alan Ayckbourn taking the decision to premiere a new play, Anno Domino, as an audio stream with him and his wife, Heather Stoney, taking on all the roles.
The success of
Anno Domino led Alan to record Haunting Julia as an audio play to be streamed during the Christmas 2020 period - when most theatres were still either closed or opening on a very limited basis.
The Haydonning Ltd production was initially streamed for an exclusive period on the Stephen Joseph Theatre's website.
